It's been a while since we have updated our news section, so..... We got some new members, Arny, Encian, Kaminka and XBSPRO. The practices are still held regulary. We seem to have gotten a server.

Back from LAN Iglocska

So, I see no one reported on how the LAN was, so just a brief note on how it was: We got to play our first match against the very best team in Hungary, leaving us buffled how we could even leave our main base without getting torn into pieces. Later on, although we knew we lost and would not make it further in the tournament we had our second match against another team. We won that one, although the victory was very marginal with just 6 tickets on one side. Nevertheless, good game to all who participated! Finally, some pictures... Tactics were discussed for a map by using ATC. It is a great program, I can not wait for the new edition. After that some proceeded to play. ACC1 was full so it was hard to get in. Once most of us got in, things, again, turned bad. A certain hungarian clan entered (same as yesterday) and decided to change the map, not once but 4 times, until they got their desired El Alamain, so they could have their pleasure on this -well- balanced map. Of course they continued with their passion, which is that the whole clan is on one side, at least eight of them (of course that makes the game very enjoyable). I am quite happy that they have their pleasure. Their behaviour truly shows their clan_s values. Iglocska and I quit after the map was changed the fourth time, Svindler and Tompi continued with their battle.

The game was kind of ruined by another hungarian clan on the server, in addition, Iglocska got kicked from the server on Bocage for being first (the admin reason was "bad language") and for complaining about the too many tkers. (twice it was me, sorry ) The maps we played were, Urban Siege, Tobruk (for a second or two ;)), El ALamain, Bocage and Inshalla Valley. This was more of a gaming and having fun practice. Tomorrow will be more "formal", having a tactical part. Sadly at the moment there is only one server running with 0.7 (ACC1), so it's always full. Yeah, we got to work on some team work and tactics + pratice a bit more... that 0:4 was pretty bad, although we were disfunctional due to several other reasons too. So, gear up!!! BTW: Iglocska draw my attention to the upcoming 0.7 release scheduled for friday 060204. Finally they will have a selectable menu for maps. Another Practice we had today... Gergis

The Midway map was kinda lame, although it was funny when Thomi brought the carrier on land ;-). The opposition didn really appreciate that. hehe Technically i liked what we did on the DC Lostvillage map, that was more like a team work and at the end we did win the round. Nicely done team!!!

In case you dont pass the test flying a heli in a clan war or praccy war is considered to be a violation of our rules. Actually you violate the rules twice then: -going against the discussed tactics ->making our team to be weakened and lose -wasting a precious vehicle that would be in much better hands by someone else -> making our team to be weakened and lose again So, just bear this in mind.

A dolog meg nem hivatalos. have to be approved by one more founding member. However the test will consist of several different tasks, one for sure landing on different terrains, buildings. Fast pick up of people and so on. Iglo will dream up the tasks. So practice practice and practice if you wanna be a freakin heli pilot. mmmmmm those tanks.

The other thing: everyone who wishes to fly a heli in clanmatches will have to pass a test, in order for him to get the opportunity of being chosen as a heli pilot for the match. Szoval valoszinuleg ha meg lesz a serverunk lesz egy helikopter teszt amin ha akkor atmesz akkor war alatt vagy maskor kioszthato rad helikopter. Maskulonben nem. Velemenyunk szerint ez azert kell hogy az esetleges "problemakat" orvosoljuk. Hogy mi lesz a tesztben??? No, arrol kesobb.

War against [FB] IgLoCSka!

We had our Practice war against [FB] last night, and it turned out pretty sad, but at least it was fun. We lost Gergis right away, so we did have a hard time, apart from that Svindler lost his sound in Teamspeak and we had generally poor teamwork. [FB] used a very well synchronized and efficient wave of air strikes against us and managed to keep us pretty much locked up in our mainbase. Anyway, [FB] promised us more opportunities to fight them, and of course we will get back to that as soon as possible, with renewed tactics, an expanded team, and hopefully less difficulties. Also Welcome on board our new member Whoyouiz who will hopefully take care of bombing ;)

Site updates IgLoCSka!

The site's basic layout together with the most needed features is up and running on this temporary address. I will try to add the admin interface as soon as possible, but it will take time until it is fully usable, as I have some other business to take care of apart from this (btw, why not visit HCGamer while you are here? ;)).
